So I went to Worship band practise on thursday night and, as luck would have it, no-one (!!) had a key to the church. So…. we went drinking. the best line of the night goes to Jon, talking to Jason:

“That’s interesting. I’d like to see you as an Asian Woman.”

Well I’m home and visiting, my sister gets married on saturday, and there’s been lots of stuff going on. We got here after a couple of not so pleasant flights with cranky, crusty old people complaining in the next seats up, and the kids not taking the flights well. Once we’re here though things started to go smoother. Sunday I went and visited the grave of my godfather, and the memorial tree that was planted for my dad, and that was nice. Waterworks ensued, of course, but it was nice to see it and see what was there. Now it’s Wednesday and we have lots going on the rest of the week. more to come.
