Well, I have returned from my journey to the PacNorWest and the site of DoRkfest ’04 – an unregular gathering of some old time geeks. Right now we’re averaging around once every four years or so. We’re a bunch of people who mostly met online and have been hanging out in the same place on IRC for many moons (as long as 13 years for some of us.. more like 9-10 for most of us.) I was there as a Canuckistani representative, along with folks from around the US and Canuckistan. Much fun was had, much booze was drank, and hilarity ensued.
Can’t wait for ’08.
