Strangely, I have had a conversation with several people and ended up saying “That was my favorite album in XXXX”

August And Everything After – Counting Crows

And some that I didn’t appreciate till much later:
Maybe You Should Drive – BNL (Still my favorite BNL album)
Achtung Baby – U2
